F: We're still dealing with Covid, and you're obviously a people person. What do you miss the most about the job, pre-Covid?

BE: I really miss getting to chat with people face to face (mask to mask just isn’t the same). I miss shaking hands and seeing smiling faces when I walk in to talk beer. I’m really looking forward to being able to do that again.

F: Speaking of Covid, how do you cheer yourself up? Any new hobbies you've picked up?

BE: I have a home music studio that I love spending time in. I got an electronic drum set last Christmas and have been spending some time trying to improve my skills on it.

F: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?

BE: I would say New York. My wife is from there and we’ve never been there together. It would be really cool to see all the places that she loved when she was there.

F: You have an interesting musical backstory -- talk to us about the band that you were in, and a memorable experience or moment if you'd like!

BE: Interesting is definitely the word for it! I played bass and toured in a metal band. It was so much fun! We toured mainly on the east coast and played in about fifteen different states. Probably the coolest thing that we ever did was when we played Vans Warped Tour. It was something I always wanted to do ever since I was a kid and it was a pretty surreal

F: Your mentioned your wife Katrina. She's the Executive Pastry Chef at Guglhupf, yes? What's your favorite dessert that she makes? And can you bring us some?

BE: Yes! She makes so many good things, but I think my favorite was a dessert she made a couple of years ago and I still talk about it to this day. It was a chocolate-blood orange mousse. It was beyond delicious! Oh, and she makes this chocolate tartlet that she brings home for me when I have a rough day. It’s so tasty! I’ll have to bring you one!

Get to know all the great people behind Team Fullsteam! We'll provide the beer as you read. Can't guarantee we'll have any chocolate tartlet left to share.
