Durham 150

Amber Ale

Malt

Durham turns 150 this year, and to celebrate, we collaborated with Durham's amazing Ethiopian restaurant, Goorsha. Together we brewed a Tej- and Tella- inspired amber ale brewed with local honey and gesho, a bitter Ethiopian spice that complements hops nicely.

Honey-forward, with a pleasant earthy bitterness, this is a creative expression of a taste of place -- of homelands near and far.

Fullsteam is one of seven Durham breweries collaborating on the Durham 150 beer project. Join us on April 12 for a Durham 150 tap takeover, featuring all seven Durham 150 beers! (Can't make it on the 12th? Hit The Glass Jug on April 11!)
