Deep, rich, and bold, this 10.9% ABV imperial stout is free of the fluff of many modern pastry stouts. It's an old guard stalwart, confident in its strong presence. A lion in winter, indeed.
(But with kitty cats on the label because, well, kittens -- and because a true lion in winter remains full of youth and surprises.)
Layers of licorice, coffee, and cocoa -- all derived from the local and domestic grain bill.
