Schlager Lager
Helles Lager
Crisp
Ist Schlagermusik nicht so schön? Jon find es toll, zumindest.
Lead Brewer Jon took on this crispy and lightly malty Munich Helles lager, and subjected the mash to hours of Schlager music for "inspiration."
He also subjected the production staff to the same tortur...uh, playlist.
If you're not familiar with Schlager music, there's two distinct camps of thoughts:
- You are blessed.
- Join the fun! Sure, it's cheesy as hell and everyone knows it. What, you too cool for this?
Schlager music is the equivalent of the electric slide at a wedding reception. You're either in, or you're out.
As for the guy writing this summary? Eh, I'm more of an electric slide observer than participant, beer in hand.
So as for the beer -- brewed with 100% N.C. grain -- well, it's for everyone. Who doesn't like a lager with lively carbonation, bready malts, and a crispy hop bite?
Whether you're on the sidelines looking in, or you're the life of the party, Schlager Lager is for everyone.
This video, however, may not be.
