With the heat of mid-summer in full swing, we wondered: could we make a hazy IPA perfect for the Southern summer? Stars features a punchy aroma of orange blossom and grapefruit pith, complemented by a hint of sweetness from Epiphany Southern Crystal malt. The beer finishes with tropical notes, citrus zest, a hint of vanilla, and just a touch of lingering bitterness to keep it from being nothing but "total juice" (brah).
In the spirit of summer, Stars is a touch more restrained...the kind of hazy IPA you could have more than one of in a session. Are we there yet?
