Farm's Edge: Sweet Pitchers of Mercy
Mole Stout
Roast
A collaborative project between Fullsteam and Durham County Beer & Hymns, Sweet Pictures of Mercy takes its name from a poem by Saint Brigid of Kildare, one of the three patron saints of Ireland. In the poem, St. Brigid describes heaven as a "great lake of beer."
Our vision was to balance sweetness with grounded earth through a unique blend of vanilla, lactose, chicory and fig leaves -- arguably a more refined and repeatable sweet stout than many of the cloyingly pastry stouts in the market these days.
